Mission work done close to home

Examples of some of the mission work and ministry projects our church, Littlefork Lutheran and our sister church Bethany Lutheran participate in:

• Care center bible study on Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30pm

• After school release time (kids 1-6 grade)

• Confirmation (kids 6-9 grade)

• Quilting

• School kits for Lutheran World Relief. Backpacks are sewn by our quilters and supplies are donated by locals.

• Hygiene kits for CHUM in Duluth, MN

• Sending kids to Camp Vermillion and Camp Hiawatha via camperships

• Vacation bible school (weeklong summer program for kids)

• Children's Christmas program

• Tailgate parties at the parsonage during home L-BF football games

• Dinners

• WELCA events, like the Lutefisk Dinner and Ladies night out events

• Christmas Gift certificate program (supports local familes in need via a gift card to local grocery store J&D family foods)
